Daniele Cervino provided a presentation on Transitions in Law Careers at the Justice Stewart Pollock Environmental Inns of the Court October session. She is membership chair and also a Master of the Inn. The Inn serves to promote mentoring, collegiality and professionalism in the environmental Bar.

Daniele Cervino will participate on a panel entitled “Real Issues with Real Estate: Identifying and Avoiding Environmental Liabilities”. Her presentation will focus on due diligence and environmental insurance concerns. The panel will be presented at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Corporate Counsel in Boston on October 20, 2009.

Daniele Cervino, has been selected to be a member of the Bergen LEADS Class of 2009- 2010. Bergen LEADS is a 10-month learning and leadership program for adults who are dedicated to Bergen County and represent the rich diversity of the County through their work, civic activities and personal qualities who live or work in Bergen County. She will participate in a class of 30 men and women from diverse backgrounds who meet monthly to discuss and develop approaches to community problems.

She will also moderate a panel at the New Jersey State Bar Association Environmental Law Forum in June 2009 on environmental projects funded by the federal stimulus proceeds.

Shaw, Esq., a LEED AP and member of the New Jersey Chapter of the US Green Building Council, attended the Council’s 3rd Annual Building a Greener NJ Gala at the Wyndham Worldwide Headquarters, a LEED registered building in Parsippany, New Jersey. This well attended event included other LEED APs, members of the Council, and New Jersey’s Leaders in Sustainability, representing corporate, government, municipal and professional leaders in the Green Building world. This signature award event honored Governor Jon S. Corzine, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award, and The Honorable Jerramiah Healy, Mayor, Jersey City, New Jersey Meadowlands Commission (Commissioner Joseph V. Doria), and Bank of America, among others.
